WHAT’S UP?!
Hey! It’s Jazz Marie aka Vevna Forrow here from Dipity Literary Magazine! Most of our submitters do not actually heavily leverage social media accounts a ton. So, we would love to stay in touch with all our stellar contributors, friends, and amazing community support network via email newsletters too from around the world. We will share upcoming dipity magazine issue progress news, podcast updates, writing prompts, poet resources, book and project releases from others and even more fun stuff! Eventually, to help sustain dipity we may implement bonus Substack subscription writer tips, short story etc. content for a small fee which we will used to support maintenance costs.

There are of course more really rad artists and bands you’ll come cross such as (@leatherandlacerock) and (@rolandtonies) if you pick up an issue of dipity.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
We are going to be much much slower to respond and snail pace review as we onboard team members and tackle some back to back life events as most of you are aware the recent passing of Toby my editing sidekick and best friend has been tough. Our review times have been updated across the board, but sometimes depending upon the volume it may certainly be much faster or only a few weeks not in fact always months.
We truly appreciate anyone who leaves a review out on dipity out on Amazon or B&N as well. In other news we are in the midst of getting into a few bookstores—we will keep everyone posted on that too! I will eventually be passing off these communication tasks to volunteer staff as well. Just a reminder we can be found on Chill Subs DISCORD chat server and we have our own separate DISCORD chat rooms too (you can find the link to that on our Submittable page and under issue shop updates)! If you haven’t created a Chill Subs profile, then we highly recommend you do as its a great resource for organization, writers, journals, and magazines!
Down the road I would love to update dipity’s website and search archive design for online publications. We are going to be mostly using these newsletters to communicate print release updates, podcast calls, resources, and tips again so be sure to tell your friends in the community to subscribe to. Eventually, these newsletters will have a regular schedule or more consistency when we grow our volunteer staff.
Well, that’s all folks! Have awesome days ahead! Thanks so much for your support!
Sincerely,
Jazz Marie Kaur (Vevna Forrow) - Creator / Founder
Also, we’re in the midst of technical troubleshooting so won’t be on Instagram possibly for a bit that’s why we’re leveraging these newsletters too. One or two, or three more song recs, sorry I really love music as you know :)
