WHAT’S HAPPENIN’?
Visit www.dipitylitmag.com to see! Dipity has a new website layout WHOOT WHOOT! Hopefully, the site revamp is a bit easier to navigate and read. I’m still looking into trying to iron out a few more elements being buggy and do miss the little hummingbird flying around. The mobile reading view is a bit finicky as a few things shifted on their own after the transference not sure why at the moment and font colors changed on some words so I’ll see if I can adjust but only a few online publications faced this. Possibly, we’ll get some fun merch or a dipity shop set up for stickers, prints, and hoodies.
We are looking into facilitating poetry book advertisement sections on our site and a few more publication, design, and critique/feedback services will be added for poets. We’ll typically put calls or open opportunities in our Submittable page. You’re welcome to use our contact form to inquire about ad spots available either our paid or free ones too.
ANTIQUE ROADSHIP issue no. 4 shall close soon and the Symphonic Challenge round no. 2 will be reaching a decision this month too as well. I’m in the process of building the draft and new theme interior design for our first antique issue currently. We are awaiting on a few more materials from others for the other non-sub sections for the issue. Get the remaining items in ideally before the 14th of October.
Check out what’s open for the rest of 2023 and do note again that we typically extend most deadlines if we don’t hit our caps so nothing is officially set in stone for most buckets!
Reminder you can now submit to our podcasts, Substack, and social media channels such as Threads! Our review time for the Substack Q&As varies, but we’ll get back to you ASAP within our 30-60 response day window but probably much sooner a few days or weeks depending upon the volume at the time. We’re excited to share more awesome writers and poets works through the new fun Q&As stay tuned as we review the first few and create a schedule for releasing those soon!
We will share more information on dipity. productions and a few other publication projects underway soon!
Dipity also may post one more team position up for an Assistant Managing Editor or part-time staff Assistant dipity Community Support Manager role to help with our future art, photography intake, and other roadmap projects.
P.S. If no one enters the poem contest on our previous newsletter we might award it at random to our follower/subscriber list or for another dipity submission category challenge that is in the midst of a decision over the fave poem or facilitate a new bucket for it with a new entry deadline TBD.
Please let us know what you’d like to see from team dipity next, below via the Substack poll or in the comments section. Feel free to use our contact form on the site for additional questions or feedback too.
Thanks so much for your support! Have awesome days ahead!
